The zoo is located in Bystrc in the area of the Mniší Mountains on the slope of an oak and beech forest about 5 kilometers from the center.It is accessible by a tram in front of the entrance to the parking lot.The area offers many refreshments and souvenirs.
The zoo covers a total of 65 hectares.
