International Organ Festival gets underway in Olomouc

Thursday saw the start of the International Organ Festival in Olomouc, a famous concert series first launched in 1969 which take place every year at the Church of St. Maurice.

 
 

Jan Velinger spoke to the festival’s programme director, Karel Martínek. He began by asking Mr Martinek, who is also the regenschori and organist at St. Maurice Church, about the festival’s beginnings.
