In the last decades, this small original glass-making village has become one of the best known winter sports ski resorts of the Jizera Mountains. It is situated in the central part of the Jizera Mountains, at an altitude of 700-800 metres above sea level. Due to the 90 km of maintained cross-country trails and the starting point of the Jizera arterial route, it is especially popular among cross-country skiers. The famous
Jizerská 50 long-distance cross-country race is annually held there as well as other international cross-country races. The resort offers 9 downhill routes and 8 lifts. The slopes are of easy and medium difficulty level.

The ski resort is located near the city of Jablonec nad Nisou. It is the most convenient resort for children and beginners as it has wide and moderate downhill routes accessible even to the youngest skiers. There is a children’s park with a snow merry-go-round and a bobsleigh run. Snowboard lovers may also visit the snow-park with 6 rails and 2 jumps.

The biggest ski resort in the Jizera Mountains is convenient for advanced skiers. It is artificially snowed and offers a four-seat chair lift. There are 6 km of downhill routes of all levels of difficulty, including routes for well-experienced skiers, and night skiing as well.
