Prague Ruzyně International Airport is the largest and most important airport in the Czech Republic. Due to its location in the middle of Europe, it is also an important transit node. Every year, some 11-12 million passengers pass through the Ruzyně Airport, travelling to some 130 destinations worldwide.

In 2007, the airport first revealed its previously unavailable premises to the public. Thus you can now visit the previously hidden rooms and facilities and get to know the technical background of flight experts. You can access runways, the state-of-the-art rescue and fire brigade stations, and Terminal 2, which was awarded with the "Transport Construction of the Czech Republic 2006" prize. Visitors are offered several options, depending on age and interest. They can move from place to place on foot or by bus.

This spring, a special tour for the youngest children was added. Preschool children and primary school pupils are offered a guided tour around the whole airport. The guide is a professional, able to provide clear explanations that children can understand easily.

The interest in the tours has grown immensely. Both Czechs and foreigners are interested, especially during holidays. Dates are offered on the airport website and you should book your visit ahead of time.
