The first Superbike World Championship in Brno took place in 1993, and then again in 1996 after a few-years absence. Since 2005, the Superbike Championship has returned annually to the Masaryk Circuit. The race is extremely popular due to the fact that spectators can visit all open stands, the racing boxes or take a close look into the facilities of the teams according to the ticket they buy. This way, they can directly experience the tension and atmosphere of the race. That is not possible at other Moto GP races.
