Fans of strong two-wheel machines cannot wait until the Superbike World Championship starts. This annual sport event takes place in Brno at the famous Masaryk Circuit from 8 to 10 July 2011.

The Superbike World Championships is the second biggest event taking place at the Masaryk Circuit, after the motorcycle Grand Prix. The 9th year of the championship will offer motorcycle fans from all over the world a whole weekend of fantastic shows. The race is a part of the series of 13 races of the Superbike World Championship, which will end on 16 October in Portimão in Portugal.

All the elite motorcycle stars in this category will present their skills at the Brno Circuit, among them the leading Czech racer Jakub Smrž. The superbike free and opening qualifying sessions will take place on Friday, while the qualifying sessions of all categories will be held on Saturday. The main race starts on Sunday.

The first Superbike World Championship in Brno took place in 1993, and then again in 1996 after a few-years absence. Since 2005, the Superbike Championship has returned annually to the Masaryk Circuit. The race is extremely popular due to the fact that spectators can visit all open stands, the racing boxes or take a close look into the facilities of the teams according to the ticket they buy. This way, they can directly experience the tension and atmosphere of the race. That is not possible at other Moto GP races.
