It has become a tradition that spectators can see more than a hundred Porsche cars of all years and models in Vratislavice nad Nisou (map) not far from Liberec on the first weekend in September. Every year at the Porsche Classic Festival their owners commemorate the famous founder of this marque, Czech native Ferdinand Porsche, who was born here on 03/09/1875.
The 17th annual festival will take place from 3rd to 5th September and there will unquestionably be plenty to see. This will be the largest meeting of cars of this world-renowned marque in the Czech Republic. Every year you can see the oldest sports
models manufactured by the Porsche car factory with your own eyes, from the first “365“ models, through younger Porsche 912, 914, 924, 944, 928, 968 models, to the current Boxster or Cayman. However, the most famous and also the most popular classic model Porsche 911 is, without doubt, the most abundantly represented.
The main programme will take place on Saturday 4th September within the complex of the Vratislavice
Konrad Brewery, where visitors will be able to view all the cars from close range and look forward to many more spectacles.
The local Porsche Classic Club, which organises the festival, is not only the oldest club here, but is also the only club in the world that can claim to be located in the house where this genius designer was born.
