The mezzosoprano Dagmar Peckova has a firm place on European theater stages and concert podiums. At present, she collaborates with leading European opera theaters – e.g. Stuttgart, Berlin, Dresden, Geneva, Basel, London and Munich. Her concert activities are also successful. She has a varied repertoire ranging from classical song works to work by contemporary composers.

She often gives guest performances at concerts by the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra. She performs at important international festivals – Bregenz, San Sebastian. She successfully debuted at London’s Royal Opera House in Covent Garden and at New York City's Carnegie Hall.

Pecková performs on the stage of the National Theater for Czech audiences. For the role of Carmen in a production staged here, she was given the prestigious Thálie Award for 1999.
