After studying at the dance conservatory in Prague/place />, she received an engagement with the National Theater Ballet, where she is now lead soloist. She still bravely moves in classical titles as well as in modern repertoires.


Examples of her dance work include Odette/Odile (Swan Lake), Marie (The Nutcracker), Juliet (Romeo and Juliet), Tatiana (Onegin), Raymonda, Sirael, etc. She is soloist of the dance group in Někdo to rád (Some Like It).  She also dances in Kylián’s Sinfonietta and in Amerikana II.

She is the winner of many significant international and domestic awards:

  • 1993 – Philip Morris Flower Award
  • 1998 – Thalie award for the role of Carmen in the ballet Carmen
  • 2000 – Pushkin Legacy Award for the role of Tatiana in the ballet Onegin
  • 2003 – Thalie award for the role Katherine in the ballet John Crank’s The Taming of the Shrew
